1. Who we are

HODLoans is operated by WF Consulting, LLC d/b/a HODLoans ("HODLoans," "we," "us"), P.O. Box 5814, Incline Village, NV 89450. HODLoans is a referral service, not a lender. This policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you visit hodloans.com or submit our form.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us through our form:

  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • Phone number (optional)
  • Whether you're borrowing personally or as a business entity, and your state of residence or the state where your entity is registered
  • Which crypto asset(s) you hold (for example BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, USDC, USDT, SALT, or multiple coins)
  • The approximate amount you'd like to borrow
  • Your contact preferences and consent choices, including the date and time you gave them

Information collected automatically: our website host (Squarespace) and any analytics tools we use may collect technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and referring site, through cookies and similar technologies.

We never ask for your Social Security number, wallet private keys, seed phrases, or exchange passwords. Never share your private keys or seed phrase with anyone, including us.

3. How we use your information

  • To review your inquiry and identify the crypto-backed loan option that fits you best
  • To route your inquiry to a lending partner that may be able to help
  • To contact you about your inquiry by email and, only if you gave separate consent, by phone or text
  • To respond to questions and provide support
  • To operate, secure, and improve our website, and to prevent fraud and abuse
  • To comply with legal obligations

4. How we share your information

  • With lending partners, to route your inquiry. We share the information you submit with the lending partner we match you with so it can respond to your inquiry. Once a lending partner receives your information, its own privacy policy governs its use.
  • Service providers that help us operate (website hosting, form storage, email, and phone/text services). They may use your information only to provide services to us.
  • Legal and safety: if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our rights, users, or others.
  • Business transfers: as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

5. We do not sell your data

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing without your consent.

6. Marketing communications and consent

  • Email: if you check the email consent box, we may email you about crypto-backed loan options. Click "unsubscribe" in any email to stop.
  • Calls and texts: only if you check the separate, optional call/text consent box. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or service. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.
  • Opting out of our messages doesn't stop a lending partner you've already been referred to from contacting you about an inquiry you started with them. Contact that partner directly.

7. Your privacy rights (California and other states)

Depending on where you live (for example California under the CCPA/CPRA, and Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Oregon, Texas, and other states with consumer privacy laws), you may have the right to: know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it; access a copy of it; correct inaccurate information; delete it; and opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" or targeted advertising. To make a request, email support@hodloans.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You may use an authorized agent. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

8. Data retention

We keep form information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, including records of your consent, or as long as the law requires. Then we delete or de-identify it. [Counsel: set a specific retention period.]

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

10. Children

Our site is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
